Zulu Hats hand made by the rural woman of Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. Traditionally worn only by the married Zulu woman. The framework of the Zulu hat is made from woven grass or palm leaf fronds, this is then covered in fabric and either bead work trim or cotton ethnic designs are added.
