A painting inspired initially by the abundance of pied crows in the Western Cape. They are incredibly intelligent, and in my opinion, beautiful birds.
The curves and edges of the crow and rhino designs was influenced by Haida art and sculpture.
The plants, rocks and cacti are typical of the type found in the mountains and hills around our house in the Overberg.
