The bag handle is inspired by the elaborate abstract and sculptural hairstyles that our founder saw growing up created by her mother who worked as a hairstylist. The stitching is also inspired by the hairstyles stitching which had intricate patterns that she created in her clients in the 70s and 80s, using thread and needle.
