These are all smooth white candles, made by hand in our Craft Factory using fully refined paraffin wax.
Each individual candle is then decorated with a ‘paint’ that we make by mixing the finest colour pigments with hot wax. The design’s background and larger bands of colours are applied with a sponge while the finer foreground details require a small paintbrush.
Because the wax ‘paint’ sets almost instantly, speed is of the essence and watching our hand-painting artists work is really quite awe-inspiring.
