Gloria’s red shweshwe markings bring an unusual Eastern Cape touch to any living room.
She is a unique upcycled table lamp. She stands 53cm tall. She is created with love and patience, from a variety of materials including shweshwe made in King William’s Town, locally-read newspaper, biscuit boxes (from locally-eaten biscuits) and a can of my favourite cider, which fortunately happens to be green.
She’s happiest when she’s munching around a filament light bulb, as shown here (not included).
Gloria can be decorated with fabric to match your decor, or made in a floor lamp size if you wish – if so, please get in touch.
