Founded in 2016, @Lulasclan started as a small scatter cushion business and has since transformed into a textile and product design studio. It is driven by South African textile artist and designer Bonolo Chepape, whose journey began with a deep love for patterns, art, and design.
Collaborating closely with her mother and aunt, Bonolo sources fabrics locally and engages talented independent seamstresses to meticulously handcraft each product. The resulting patterns beautifully merge diverse cultural influences, giving rise to a distinct African contemporary style that pays homage to our rich heritage.
